Rebuild — Reimagine
Physical User Interface (PUI)
This refers to interfaces where the user interacts directly with physical, tangible components to control digital systems. To provide a "hands-on" experience that feels more tangible than a screen-based menu.

Disassembled a rice cooker and reconstructed it in SolidWorks to gain a comprehensive understanding of its internal components and assembly. Building on this analysis, I reimagined the physical user interface (PUI) to enhance performance, usability, and overall user interaction.
-
I fully disassembled a rice cooker, documenting and measuring every component-including the smallest screws—to understand its construction and assembly logic. Using those parts as precise references, I rebuilt the appliance in SolidWorks by modeling each component individually and assembling them into a complete, fully constrained 3D model.

I reimagined the physical user interface (PUI) through three iterative redesigns—good, better, and best—starting with functional refinements to improve usability, then enhancing ergonomics and clarity of interaction, and ultimately developing a more intuitive, user-centered interface that elevated both form and function.
Three iterations for each category.
