Expanding the line without breaking the language.
Cohesive focus
Understanding the brand’s history, audience expectations, market positioning, and competitive landscape allows designers to innovate with purpose while minimizing risk. At the same time, maintaining the brand’s image, voice, and integrity safeguards the trust and recognition that have already been built. Even when exploring new categories, the visual language, tone of communication, and core values should remain consistent enough to feel authentic. A well-researched, thoughtfully executed expansion not only preserves brand equity but can also strengthen it—demonstrating adaptability without sacrificing identity.

After doing extensive market research I was drawn to the brands use of form/shape within their available products. specifically their most notable use of knots within many of their designs. the use of the knot is seen across all of their products including: perfume, bags, belts, shoes, etc. i found that many people can easily recognize the brand by the knot alone.
